THE Home Builders Association of Dayton and the Miami Valley (the HBA) is
the voice of the home building industry in our region and one of its most respected
membership organizations.
The HBA is comprised of nearly 1,000
member firms, each of which is dedicated to the proposition that home
ownership should be within the reach of every American family.
The HBA is a very active organization which promotes
and enhances the professionalism of home building
and associated businesses in Montgomery, Greene,
Preble, Butler, Warren and Darke Counties.
In 2004, HBA members in the Miami Valley built almost 4,000 single-family homes and hundreds of condominiums and apartments.
The HBA actively monitors local government activity and keeps its members
informed and involved in issues which affect their business. The HBA offers
its members state-of-the-art professional education programs throughout the
year and conducts a number of signature events well known in the Miami
Valley - Homearama, Rehabarama, Citirama, the Home Show at the Dayton Mall, the HBA Summer
Garage Sale, the Fall and Spring Parades of Homes, and many others.
